Last weekend Michael and I finally busted out our Cuisinart Griddler Junior, which has been in brand new condition for about 2 years. We had bought an extra one on accident a couple Christmases ago and just never got around to unboxing it and playing around with it. We decided to start small and make a hot lunch meat sandwich. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get back into blogging about the foods we make and enjoy. I have many more hot sandwiches in mind for the future ;)
Ingredients: sandwich bread, mayo, mustard(s), cheese, lunch meat, tomato, butter

I originally set the Griddler on low, but it was taking forever, so I turned it up to medium and this only took about 3-5 mins till the cheese was melted and bread was toasted.
BLOOPER!
Be very careful when transferring a buttered sandwich to a smooth plate - Michael's sandwich slid right off the plate onto the floor when I was moving the plate from the counter to the cutting board to cut his sandwich for him. I had to literally swat his hand so he wouldn't eat the sandwich off the floor. Had to make him another sandwich, so I've learned my lesson ;)
