Klout Perk: Lipton Tea & Honey
I received this Klout perk last month and I greedily used them all up in a matter of days. I made a few pitchers worth of tea, mixing it with juices and sparkling waters. My fruity, tasty and refreshing concoctions were so delicious! I used one packet in an 8oz bottle since these were on-the-go packets, and it seemed too potent and too sweet, so I would say 12oz or 16oz would be ideal for one of these packets.

6-9-12 Outtakes
It took us 30 mins to film our Honest Company first impression video, here's some of the outtakes from that footage - most of it is Michael being silly :)
Madilyn & Jamison in May
I'm so late on editing their monthly vlog, but I finally got it uploaded :)
Madilyn & Jamison in April
Somehow I forgot to share the video on my blog, it's been on my youtube for a while

International Delight: Cinnabon
I LOVE Cinnabon and I LOVE this creamer! I actually used this creamer sparingly because I like to really enjoy it and not just chug it down when the kids don't give me any time to sit and enjoy my morning before jumping into my day. Haha! So, yes, I love this creamer and yes I want more of it - preferably in a giant container ;)

International Delight: Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream
Another coffee creamer review! I drink coffee everyday, and I like to switch up so we keep a few flavors in the fridge. The International Delight creamer comes in a super delicious flavor, Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream. I don't like Cold Stone, so when Michael brought this home I was not thrilled about it. He was actually the first one to try it, he really liked it and eventually I gave in and tried it myself. Ok, I'm sorry to Cold Stone for hating on this creamer before I even put it in my coffee. It tastes WAY better than your ice cream does! ;) Just like it's called, Sweet Cream has a sweet and creamy taste. It doesn't mask the flavor of your coffee, just adds a tiny bit of sweet to it. If this one goes on sale again, I won't mind repurchasing it.

Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles
I recently signed up on BzzAgent, and for my very first campaign, I received a pair of Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heels Insoles. I was worried about getting high heel insoles, as a stay at home mother I don't wear heels often... or at all anymore. But, on Saturday my BFF had a birthday party at a club in San Francisco, the perfect time and place to try out these insoles!
Let's begin with the design, they are slender and rather thin - the thickest area is where your arch will sit. I like how narrow these are because you can easily use these in open-sided heels and not have them sticking out for the world to see. I own more pumps than high heels, so these fit perfectly fine in my 4" pumps. Underneath the insoles is an adhesive, so you just remove the plastic film and stick them into your shoes. Each insole is marked left and right, heel and toe.
When I put my pumps on at home, my feet felt so comfortable with these insoles in. The gel like cushions are really nice and the arch, the thickest area of the insoles, actually felt good - I have flat feet so I was scared the arch would kill me.
After wearing these for the first hour at the club, I knew I wouldn't be doing any dancing. I pretty much lost that heavenly comfort that I first experienced, and it felt as if I was just wearing my pumps as usually - without any insoles. My arches were aching, my toes were numb from standing and walking, and my heels were dying to kick off these pumps.
DrScholls.com: Women's (sizes 6-10) / Fits all high heels, 2″ and higher / $9.99-$11.99

The Honest Company - Free Trial Unboxing & Review
The Honest Company is all about safe, eco-friendly, and affordable baby products. From diapers and wipes to bath wash and dish soap, they have almost all the baby necessities with consciously safer ingredients than your average "store bought" baby products. Last week, Tina, behind My Highest Self, blogged about The Honest Company and their free trial offer (currently unavailable, but keep your eyes peeled for the next free trial offer). I love baby products, especially the safer ones, so I jumped on this offer ASAP. Before I go any further I should note that The Honest Company was founded by actress and mother, Jessica Alba, and former CEO of Healthy Child Healthy World, Christopher Gavigan. You can read more about the company's background and what they are about on their website. I also suggest taking the time to read their Commitment section, it's very clear and informative, this is what sold me on the brand. I appreciate their awareness to the environment and the impact our daily products have on it.
The Honest Company has a "Bundle and Save" program where you can subscribe to a monthly bundle; the Diaper Bundle at $79.95/month and/or the Family Essentials Bundle at $35.95/month. I believe you can sign up for both or just one, but the idea is that you save some money when you buy the bundles compared to purchasing multiple items outside the bundle program.
How I Got The Free Trial
I had to create an account, fill out a short profile sharing my child's sex, age, size and our style and what I think is most important in buying baby products. Then I could choose which free trial I wanted to receive, either the Diaper Bundle for $4.95 (shipping fee) or the Family Essentials Bundle for $3.95 (shipping fee). I was feeling greedy, so I signed up for the Diaper Bundle free trial, and then I created an account for Michael to receive the Family Essentials Bundle free trial.
With your free Discovery Kit you will become enrolled as a MEMBER of The Honest Company. You have 7 days following receipt of your Discovery Kit to cancel your membership at any time, for any reason. We will remind you several times about your membership options. If you choose to not cancel your membership, you will be charged $79.95 plus $4.95 shipping and handling for your monthly supply of Diapers, or $35.95 plus $3.95 shipping and handling for your monthly supply of Family Essentials.
We guarantee your complete satisfaction!
Michael and I filmed our free trial sample kits unboxing and first impressions
The Diaper Bundle $79.95/month
300 diapers (Diapers Bundle includes 6 packs of 50 diapers), Value: $83.70 (reg. $13.95/pack)
320 wipes (Diapers Bundle includes 4 packs of 80 wipes), Value: $19.80 (reg. $4.95/pack)
Total value: $103.50
Total savings: $23.55
Our Thoughts: We like the idea of the bundle, diapers and wipes together in a monthly service, but we are canceling my account because although the diapers are cute and the products are safe we didn't really like how they performed. The wipes were really thin and pretty dry feeling. Usually we only use 1-1.5 wipes per diaper change, but the Honest wipes were so thin that we ended up using 2-3 wipes per diaper change. The diapers are super adorable, and I like that you can choose which print you'd like to receive, but these were a bit too small for Jamison (he's currently size 1-2 and the Honest diapers were size 1). The waist of the diapers fit him fine, but the thigh holes and width were too small. He would probably fit in a size 2 (which I had selected on checkout, but they sent size 1 for some reason). Madilyn has a sensitive rump, so when her stock of diapers runs out, I want to buy a pack of the Honest diapers in her size and see if she likes them better than the store-bought ones we are currently using.
The Family Essentials Bundle $35.95/month
Choose any 5 products from the entire collection
Combination values can range from $34.75 - $61.75
Possible savings range from -$1.20 - $25.80
Our Thoughts: I LOVE this bundle and I think everyone should try it out - either the free trial or just jump in and subscribe to the monthly service. Why I love it so much: I love that these products are safer and gentler on the kids in comparison to the store-bought baby products that we are currently using. I have used all the samples already and I loved all of them! They are fragrance free so the kids didn't have any reactions to the products, the balm was nice and thick and actually soothed Jamison's diaper irritation spots, the hand soap is the perfect consistency for a child to use - Madilyn didn't have any problems washing her hands, the lotion is lovely - it's thinner but spreads really nice and you don't need a lot to cover an entire infant's body, the body wash/shampoo was really nice too because it didn't dry out their skin like some of our other bath soaps do. We are still using baby products that we had received as gifts from Madilyn and Jamison's baby showers, so we have yet to really shop and buy baby products. I have been preferring to use the more natural baby products in our collection, and thinking of donating the non-natural products that haven't been opened yet. We are keeping Michael's account open to try out more the Honest products. I love the sizes and prices of the Honest products, and I love that I can save so much money on them by doing the Bundle and Save option.
Overall, I love the baby products, I wasn't too keen on the wipes being thin, and I plan on buying a pack of diapers for Madilyn to try out soon.

eBoost - Acai Pomegranate
A while back I got a sample of Orange eBoost in my December Birchbox, after tweeting how I didn't like it, eBoost offered to send me samples of their other flavors to try out. This week I finally got around to trying one of the flavors, Acai Pomegranate. It came in one of those on-the-go single packets, I reused a water bottle to get a full 8oz.
The powder dissolves completely so there is no gritty texture when drinking. The flavor is sweet like berry flavoring but not sweet like you typical berry drink. It tastes like a "light" drink would, with that "artificial sweetener" after taste. Overall, Acai Pomegranate is WAY better than Orange and I'm actually interested in buying a few more since it is full of "good stuff" and adds good points to my MyFitnessPal tracker.

Starbucks Blonde Veranda Blend
We got this randomly in the mail and since it's a sampling, I thought I'd share my thoughts on it. Normally we just buy discount coffee at the grocery store, we never go for the "fancier" stuff. I enjoy Starbucks coffees, but I never seem to go to Starbucks myself and get a coffee. Rarely do I taste a difference in coffee blends, probably because I always end up getting the cheaper stuff. The Starbucks Blonde Veranda Blend is actually really pleasant. It's light, neutral in flavor, it doesn't have the bitter coffee taste that I'm slightly hooked on, and it smells so good! I'm keeping an eye open for sales and coupons on this so I can get some more soon!
This coffee is mellow and approachable, with nuances of soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts, light body and medium acidity.
Starbucks Veranda Blend: Forty years of coffee-roasting expertise inspired us to perfect Starbucks® Blonde Roast - a lighter, gentler take on the Starbucks Roast. Roasting this blend of specially chosen Latin American beans for a shorter time allows the delicate nuances of soft, cocoa and lightly toasted nuts to blossom. Flavorful without being overly bold, this coffee brews a delightfully gracious cup that's perfect for welcoming friends or greeting a new day.
Tasting Notes: Mellow & Soft
Enjoy this with: An after-dinner dessert and a balcony view.
Roast: Blonde
Region: Latin America
The Starbucks Roast: Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.
Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.
